Cocotte was attacked by what we think was a weasel, maybe a cat. We threw body in the bin today rather than bury it, as we didn’t want the potential smell attracting other predators. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat her (mostly intact, just the neck and the tail had been nibbled) remains, even if the meal would probably have been delicious.
