Why buy a melamine table at 400Euros when you can build one out of solid Oak for 160? starting with the planks i bough in the shop

ça commence avec les planches que j’ai acheté.

mark out and drill pilot holes for dowles

glue and clamp, then leave to set overnight, (repeated 3 times) to form the tabletop

coller et serrer, puis laisser sécher jusqu’au matin (refaire 3 fois) pour compléter la planche principale

cut the planks lengthways in two, at 45 degrees to form the legs.

put the two peices side by side and tape together.

poser les pieces côte a côte puis scotcher.

flip over and apply a generous amount of glue, you can clean the excess with a wet cloth.

mettre à l’envers et appliquer plein de colle.

fold the leg into shape, secure with more tape, and clean off any excess glue with a damp cloth.

plier le pied et fixer avec plus de scotch, nettoyer la colle qui a coulé avec a un chiffon humide si c’est necessaire
